Overview

In addition to dry testing surfaces, Track One also contains two very important wet test areas. The first is the plateau, which offers precise water depth controls and four driving lanes (A1, A7, A8 & A9), each with different grip levels. This is used for testing wet braking.

  • Standard water depth for adherence plateau is 1.2mm
  • A1: IRI = 38.9 in/mile
  • A8: IRI = 68.1 in/mile
  • A9: IRI = 66.3 in/mile
