Track 5 Area: Multiple Off-Road Surfaces
Overview
The Track 5 area offers a variety of test surfaces. One area features both asphalt and mud inclines with a 9% grade. Another is a one-mile long dirt track ideal for off-road handling and traction analysis. This includes a dirt or mud traction area and a nearby floodable mud lane. For off-road hill climb tests, there is a steep 28% grade incline. There is also a mogul run and a large separate area that can be configured with a wide range of surfaces for testing off-road, construction and vocational vehicles.
